Nothing that goes to someone else — an email, a meeting invite, a message — is sent without your yes.
What needs your yes, and what does not
Anything that goes to someone else, such as an email, an invite or a message, is shown to you on a card and waits for your yes. Every send waits for your explicit yes, with no exceptions and no auto-send setting to switch on.
Your own reminders and to-dos are set straight away.
The confirm card and the 30-second undo
Ordaily writes the reply in your style and shows it as a confirm card: who it goes to, the subject and the full text. Every email and every booking comes to you as a confirm card first, and nothing is sent until you say yes. After you approve, you have 30 seconds to undo.
If Ordaily is unsure or cannot do something, it tells you rather than guessing.
What Ordaily reads, and why
- Email content: when you connect a Gmail account, we read inbox content to triage, summarise, and draft replies. Every three minutes Ordaily reads your inbox, classifies each email as Urgent, Priority, or Follow-up, and drafts a reply in your tone for anything that needs one.
- Calendar data: events, attendees, meeting titles and locations, when you connect Google Calendar.
- Meeting transcripts: when you connect Fireflies, transcripts are imported, summarised, and stored.
- Slack: catches you up on channels and direct messages, and adds Slack to your briefing.
Ordaily requests only the minimum Google OAuth scopes needed to deliver these features. Ordaily does not read Outlook mail or the Outlook calendar. Every tool and how it connects: what Ordaily connects to.
Where your data is hosted
Ordaily and its database are hosted in Johannesburg (jnb); WhatsApp delivery and AI processing involve international providers (see the privacy policy). Encrypted in transit & at rest.
The international providers, as the privacy policy names them:
- Anthropic (Claude): for AI-powered analysis, summarisation, and drafting.
- OpenAI: for voice transcription (Whisper), synthesis (gpt-4o-mini-tts), and indexing your Brain so it can be searched.
- ElevenLabs: for premium voice synthesis (tier-dependent).
- Green API (WhatsApp): for delivering WhatsApp Business messages to and from your registered number.
Never used to train AI
Your content is never used to train any AI model. Data accessed via Google Workspace APIs (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, Drive) is never used to develop, improve, or train generalised AI/ML models, nor transferred to others for that purpose. We do not sell your data.
Disconnect and delete
You approve every connection and can disconnect any time. You can review and revoke Ordaily's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

- Primary storage and daily encrypted backups are in Johannesburg, South Africa (jnb region). WhatsApp messages are delivered through Green API, and AI processing runs on Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (voice transcription, voice synthesis and search indexing) and ElevenLabs, under their enterprise data agreements. Your content is never used to train any model.
